Nigerian Defence Academy Cadets Embark on Educational Excursion to the National Space Museum
February 28, 2025Abuja, Nigeria — At Milky-Way Visuals Ltd, we believe the future isn’t something we wait for — it’s something we build. That belief came alive this month as we, the commercial arm of NASRDA, proudly concluded the first phase of our STEM in Robotics and Automation Training Program for Teenagers, in partnership with the brilliant minds at Leternal Systems.
Held at the National Space Museum, our signature innovation hub, the program brought together some of the brightest and most curious teenagers from across Abuja. They didn’t just learn robotics — they lived it. From day one, they were building, coding, collaborating, and problem-solving like future engineers.

“This program embodies what Milky-Way Visuals Ltd stands for: empowering the next generation with tools, knowledge, and confidence to lead Nigeria’s tech revolution,” said Oyewole Leke Olugbenga, Managing Director of Milky-Way Visuals Ltd. “As the commercial arm of NASRDA, our mission is to bridge space science and real-world impact — and this is just one way we’re doing that.”
In collaboration with Leternal Systems, we delivered an immersive, hands-on, and unforgettable training experience. Teenagers learned to build line-following robots, obstacle-avoiding bots, and smart automation systems while mastering the basics of Arduino, programming languages, and sensor integration.
Program Highlights Included:
Hands-on robot design and automation labs
Real-world coding challenges and using microcontrollers
A Demo Showcase where students presented their inventions to proud parents, educators, and tech experts
Certificates of Completion and mentorship invitations for top-performing students
