Paving the Way for Global Competitiveness: FG Partners NASRDA on National Agricultural Traceability System
November 27, 2025Launch Your Child’s Future: National Space Museum Hosts “Milky-Way Explorers” STEM Programme This December 2025!
In a bold stride towards securing Africa’s place in the global space race, Milky-Way Visuals Ltd, the commercial arm of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), is proud to announce the return of its highly anticipated STEM training program, the “Milky-Way Explorers,” scheduled for December 2025. This initiative is meticulously designed to inspire and equip the next generation of African scientists, engineers, and space pioneers.
The National Space Museum: A Hub for Hands-On STEM Excellence
The vibrant image of young minds deeply engaged in building drones, programming robots, and charting the cosmos is not merely an aspiration; it is the daily reality within the National Space Museum’s dynamic learning environment. The Museum has evolved into a living laboratory, transforming curiosity into capability.
The “Milky-Way Explorers” programs are coordinated and enriched by Milky-Way Visuals Ltd’s innovative educational frameworks and are designed for children aged 8-18, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a deep passion for STEM fields.
Programme Highlights
This December, the “Milky-Way Explorers” will immerse participants in four specialized, hands-on tracks:
- “Cosmic Coders”: This program introduces students to the fascinating world of planets, from basic orbital mechanics to simulating space phenomena through interactive coding lessons & games.
- “Future Engineers” Hardware & Robotics: This flagship program challenges participants to design, build, and program autonomous robots capable of navigating simulated terrains. Students gain essential skills in engineering, coding (Python, C++), sensor integration, and real-world problem-solving.
- “Drone Launchers” Design Workshop: Aspiring drone engineers and pilots delve into the principles of aerodynamics and payload integration. Students construct and fly model drones, gaining practical experience in physics, materials science, and project management.
- “Astronomy Ambassadors” Stellar Observation & Research: Combining theoretical astronomy with practical observation, students learn to use telescopes, analyze celestial phenomena, and conduct mini-research projects on exoplanets, stellar evolution, and cosmology.
An Open Invitation: Empower the Next Generation of Innovators
The National Space Museum extends a heartfelt invitation to all parents across Nigeria and the wider African continent. We are reminded that the journey to the stars begins with education.
Enroll your children in the “Milky-Way Explorers” programmes and empower them to contribute to NASRDA’s vital space missions and beyond. With state-of-the-art facilities and expert instructors, we are preparing students not just for careers, but for leadership roles in a future defined by scientific discovery and technological advancement.
